FAQ: Why Does My Target Have No Available Contact Methods?

If you are adding a target to your Target Set, you may notice that there is no Available Contact Method for that target. This indicates that either...

1. The target has a phone number on file, but Click to Call is not activated for your account.
2. No means of communication (phone number, webform/email address, or Twitter handle) are on file.

When no contact methods are available, Engage will use your Fallback method (fax or store only) for supporter submissions. If a new communication channel becomes available for the target during our normal database updates, then Engage will automatically use the available channels. There is no need to republish the activity in this case.
