RTE - formatting and copying/pasting tips

Since the release of our Rich Text Editor there have been a few known issues raised. This article contains some tips for the best use of this functionality.

Part of the migration to the new RTE included copied text being sanitized to remove potentially harmful data. The move to the new RTE earlier this year was critical for security purposes and compatibility with Penelope Mobile.

Moving forward, if additional issues arise that include the loss of text or data within an RTE field, and none of the tips below help to solve this, please reach out to Penelope Support Team so that we may further investigate this.

• When copying a text from an e-mail, notepad, notes, any Microsoft editor, sometimes it won't paste properly all the information and/or will miss part of the formatting

• Using Mac OS, it is possible to paste as Plain Text directly by pressing Command + Shift + V (on the keyboard) or by doing a right click from your mouse or keyboard touchpad and selecting Paste and match style

• Using Windows, it is possible to paste as Plain Text by pressing Control + Shift + V (on the keyboard) or by doing a right click from your mouse or keyboard touchpad and selecting Paste as plain text

Dear Chartered Physiotherapist.

Following completing an initial triage phone call I have referred a patient to your clinic for physiotherapy management under the Irish life Back-Up scheme.

If you have not received your username and login, please reply to this e-mail and we can issue them to you.
